Rate your play from 10 - 25 based upon the descriptions below:
10 Absolute beginner. This player has limited experience; is
learning to serve and is still working on keeping the ball in
play.
13 Advanced beginner. This player is learning to judge where the
ball is going although court coverage remains weak. Can sustain
a short rally of slow pace with other players. Serves are weak
without much consistency.
15 Novice minus player. This player has obvious stroke weaknesses
but is familiar with basic positioning and gameplay. First
serves are inconsistent but can execute weak second serves with
occassional double faults.
18 Novice player. This player is fairly consistent with limited
shot selection. Lacks execution when trying for directional
control. Has limited success on first serves due to forced
errors but has good consistency with second serves.
20 Novice plus player. This player is comfortable hitting both
forehand and backhand shots, has improved court coverage and
occasionally exhibits more aggressive net play. Has moderate
success with first serves but second serve still weak.
23 Lower Intermediate player. This player has acheived stroke
dependability plus the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach
shots and volleys with some success. Can serve with moderate
consistency but lacks power.
25 Intermediate player. This player has played organized tennis in
the past or plays on a regular basis. Has dependable strokes,
including directional control and depth on both forehand and
backhand strokes. Can serve with good consistency
